Our day begins in the indoor arena– campers are divided into small riding groups, horse assignments are made, the day’s plan is explained and riding groups begin grooming, tacking-up, and riding. |

After our riding lesson, its time for horse care skills– washing the horses, and cleaning the tack (saddles and bridles) Horse anatomy and basic health care are taught. |

After a break and snack, we get on with nature studies and crafts. A respect for the ecology of open spaces is stressed, and our lovely country setting encourages children to learn about the local flora and fauna. |

IT’S FRIDAY! At the end of our week, parents and family are invited to our skills demonstration show 11:00am, followed by a cook out.. |
