  Buckhorn Farm is situated on approximately 60 acres of gently rolling pasture, just west of  Apex, North Carolina. Home for the horses is a stable of twenty-six stalls, with paved hallways and full sliding doors. (A separate stable houses the riding school)  Each horse enjoys his own fan in the summer and  overhead fly-control system. The indoor wash stall is complete with heat lamps, and hot and cold water, and there is an additional outdoor wash stall. Boarders enjoy the convenience of full sized cabinets, with the security of locking your tack. The customer lounge is heated and air conditioned.  The hunter ring, 125’ x 250’ is lighted for night-time riding and the lighted, covered arena enables us to ride and train  year-round.
Practice your dressage in our 20m x 60m sand arena. Or put a little excitement in your life by riding some of the cross-country  jumps....logs, walls, post & rail, and ditches in the jumping field. ~All this, and the individual attention of a small barn~
